Water Is Life brings together encounters with rivers, seas, canals and other bodies of water across different places and journeys. I return to water repeatedly—not simply as landscape, but as a living presence and a source of movement, memory and connection.
Water carries histories. It connects and separates people and places, crosses borders, sustains life and bears the marks of human intervention and environmental change. Through these photographs, I explore our relationship with water as something we belong to and depend upon, rather than something we possess.
